If someone had told me a few years ago that I’d build an AI platform helping students around the world learn anything they want — I wouldn’t have believed it.
But here we are.
My name is Peter Okafor, and I’m the founder and CEO of Learnrithm AI — a learning platform powered by AI that creates custom courses, generates quizzes, and gives out certificates that are actually verifiable by employers. What started as a simple idea is now helping thousands of learners take education into their own hands.

Where It All Started
I’ve always loved solving problems with tech. As a student and software engineer, I noticed one major problem everywhere around me:
Learning is hard — not because people aren’t smart, but because they don’t get the right tools.
Some students were struggling to understand school topics. Others wanted to learn new skills but didn’t know where to start. Many couldn’t afford expensive courses. And the AI tools available were either too complicated or not built for students at all.
That’s when the idea for Learnrithm AI came to life.

Building the First Version
I started building the first version in early 2024 — while juggling school, freelance jobs, and very little sleep. I wanted to create something simple:
• A student says what they want to learn
• Learnrithm AI builds a full course with videos, images, and text
• It even explains the hard parts like a real teacher would
• Then gives you quizzes to prepare for real exams
• And finally, gives you a certificate — that recruiters can verify online
Sounds big, right? It was.
But I believed in it. So I kept building.

Challenges? Plenty.
From tech issues to funding problems to figuring out how to build something useful (not just another AI chatbot), it wasn’t easy. There were days I felt like quitting. Days where things broke. Days I had to ask myself: is this really going to work?
But every time I saw a student send me a message saying “This helped me pass my test,” I kept going.

Why I’m Sharing This
I’m not sharing this just to talk about myself. I’m sharing this because a lot of young people out there have ideas that can change things. But they think they need a perfect team, big money, or some magical start.
You don’t.
You just need to start. Even if it’s rough. Even if people don’t get it yet.
Learnrithm AI didn’t start perfect — and we’re still growing. But every line of code, every mistake, every win has been part of the story.
