Learnrithm

Today, we’re thrilled to announce that Learnrithm AI has acquired Holinder, the leading school management and learning platform trusted by 90% of Irish schools.
This acquisition marks a pivotal moment in our mission to transform education through AI-powered personalized learning. By combining Learnrithm’s cutting-edge AI tutoring platform with Holinder’s embedded presence in Ireland’s education system, we’re creating a comprehensive, full-stack solution for schools across Europe.
A New Era for European Schools
When we started Learnrithm AI in Nigeria, we had one goal: give every student access to world-class, personalized tutoring. We’ve built an AI tutor that understands how students learn, adapts in real-time, and delivers results.
But we always knew our vision was bigger than Africa alone.
Today, with the acquisition of Holinder, we’re extending that vision to Europe.
The numbers tell the story:
• 90% school penetration across Ireland
• 3,700+ schools relying on Holinder daily
• Trusted by principals, teachers, and parents nationwide
• A sticky, recurring revenue model with deep customer relationships
This isn’t just an acquisition—it’s a launchpad.
Why Holinder? Why Now?
We looked at the EdTech landscape across Africa and Europe, and we realized something critical: schools need a complete ecosystem, not just point solutions.
Schools already use Holinder for scheduling, attendance, grades, and communications. Teachers trust it. Parents check their kids’ progress on it. Principals manage their budgets through it.
Now, imagine adding world-class AI tutoring into that ecosystem.
Imagine a student struggling with secondary school maths. Their teacher flags it in Holinder. Our AI tutor steps in—personalized, adaptive, available 24/7. The student gets better. The teacher sees real-time progress. The school sees retention improve.
That’s the power of integration.
With Holinder, we’re not starting from zero. We’re walking into 3,700 schools with an existing relationship, trust, and mindshare. The lift to adoption is exponentially smaller than any other European market entry strategy.
The Vision: Full-Stack EdTech for Schools
This acquisition unlocks four immediate opportunities:
1. Tutoring for Irish & UK Schools
We’ll integrate Learnrithm’s AI tutoring into Holinder’s platform, giving Irish schools access to personalized, affordable AI-powered support across maths, English, science, and beyond. Within 12 months, we target 500+ Irish schools using our tutoring layer.
2. Geographic Expansion
Ireland’s 90% penetration becomes our foundation. Holinder’s infrastructure, compliance framework (GDPR-ready), and relationships become our bridge to the UK (10,000+ schools), and EU markets (100,000+ schools).
3. Enhanced Revenue Per School
Holinder’s customers will benefit from our premium tutoring features, driving higher contract values and deeper stickiness. We’re not just maintaining their existing relationship—we’re expanding it.
4. Pathway to American Markets
The infrastructure and regulatory playbook we build in Ireland/EU becomes replicable for North American expansion in the coming years.
What This Means for Holinder Customers
Nothing changes immediately—everything improves over time.
• Your Holinder platform works exactly as it does today
• No migrations, no disruptions, no switching costs
• Access to Learnrithm’s AI tutoring as an optional premium add-on
• Deeper analytics on student progress and learning outcomes
• Priority feature development from our combined teams
We’re committed to honoring the trust Holinder’s customers have placed in the platform for years. This acquisition is about enhancement, not disruption.
The Team
The Holinder team is staying on and leading the Irish and European expansion alongside Learnrithm’s founding team. We’ve hired two exceptional leaders—Abby McAlhaney (Enterprise Sales) and Riya Kamra (Business Development)—specifically to scale our B2B footprint. With Holinder’s team, we now have the best-in-class expertise across education, software, and European markets.
We’re also doubling down on local hires in Ireland. This isn’t a “siloed acquisition.” We’re building a unified team with a shared mission.
